In this session, we will discuss how best to avoid running afoul of the complex statutes and regulations surrounding the employment of foreign workers and the employment eligibility verification process administered through the Form I-9 process. Certainly a hot button issue in today’s political climate, employers must remain current on the latest developments to ensure compliance with applicable law.
Stephen B. Maule practices in all areas of labor and employment law, including litigation, client counseling, and document preparation and review. Stephen relies extensively on his legal education and his experience with the firm in serving McMahon Berger’s clients. Stephen handles all facets of employment law, including employment discrimination claims under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Missouri Human Rights Act.
