Performance reviews aren’t engaging. Everyone hates them. Yet, you’ll probably inflict another round on your employees. Again. Why do we tolerate the status quo? What if we didn’t have to?
Engagement drives performance. But, you’ll never get engagement from a disengaging process. It’s no surprise that performance reviews fail their primary objective: to improve performance.
This session explores why we’ve failed to innovate – for far too long. We analyze excuses for sticking with the status quo and offer solutions for each. We present a transition plan for how to efficiently leverage continuous employee feedback in accountable, engaging and strategic ways.
David Weisser has helped executives make data-driven leadership decisions for over 15 years. David earned expertise in workplace culture and organizational engagement as Director of Consulting for Quantum Workplace, the company responsible for the nation’s Best Places to Work programs and as Director of Research for Kenexa – an IBM company. David is now the Product Director for ReviewCloud, where he focuses on making performance management engaging. He has worked in state government and higher education and holds a Master’s Degree in Survey Research and Methodology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he lives with his wife and three young children.
