Karla Voss

Karla Voss is a Health Educator III at the MO Department of Health and Senior Services. She works with communities to encourage evidence-based chronic disease prevention strategies relating to policy and environmental changes on healthy eating, active living, and tobacco prevention. Karla assists community agencies to plan, implement and evaluate initiatives within private and public environments. She conducts trainings and provides resources for partners around health promotion subjects, with an emphasis in worksite wellness and lactation support. Karla is a Certified Health Education Specialist, graduating from Truman State University with a Bachelor’s in Health Science.
