Tami has spent more than 30 years leading businesses in both for profit and not for profit worlds through the process of creating a Successful Strategic Human Capital Plan. She has gained expertise in startup organizations most noteworthy in forming and leading the first Human Resources function and team in a service industry which grew from 200 to 5,000 employees starting in the Kansas City area and expanding into numerous states in less than five years. Tami has proven experience utilizing these basic principles and showing they work in all industries which utilize financials, leadership and relationships to make business work.


Tami H. Seaman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Tami H. Seaman, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has enjoyed more than 30 years working with exceptional leaders and committed people in both for profit and non-profit organizations in professional human resources roles. Tami is proud to be a member of the WireCo World Group Human Resources Team where she serves as the Total Rewards Manager for their United States businesses. Tami has held numerous leadership roles with the KS SHRM State Council including Council Director and 2017 Conference Chair. She has served in many capacities on the Society of Human Resources Management of Johnson County (SHRMJC) Board of Directors and was honored to serve as the Chapter President in 2016. Tami has a Masters degree in Adult Education from Kansas State University and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri. Outside of work, Tami enjoys spending time with her husband and extended family. She has two doxies that run the household since her son has left the nest. She always enjoys a comical pet story.
